Fast-growing Thuja occidentalis for tall hedges and screens, from 140–160 cm up to 240–260 cm. Every plant is grown in open ground at our nursery in Miedzechów, south of Warsaw, and lifted to order with a root ball. Golden Brabant comes in the same sizes and at the same prices.

Faster and broader than Smaragd, closes a screen sooner and tolerates harder cutting. Bronzes slightly in hard frost.
Best for: a uniform, green screen along a boundary or site.

The golden form of Brabant: a conical habit with bright golden-yellow foliage that lightens the garden and contrasts well with dark green. The colour is strongest in a sunny spot; in deeper shade the plant turns greener.
Best for: a colour accent, or a two-tone hedge mixed with green Brabant or Smaragd.
In 2026 a field-grown Brabant costs 69 zł for 140–160 cm, 79 zł for 160–180 cm and 89 zł for 180–200 cm. The large grades cost 109 zł (200–220 cm), 129 zł (220–240 cm) and 149 zł (240–260 cm). Golden Brabant costs exactly the same. These are prices for retail orders. For larger quantities the price per plant is agreed individually.
Golden Brabant (Thuja occidentalis 'Golden Brabant') has golden-yellow foliage. The colour is strongest in full sun and turns greener in deeper shade. We supply it in the same sizes, at the same prices and with the same planting distance as green Brabant.
Plants of 140–200 cm are planted about 65 cm apart, which is 16 plants per 10 metres. The 200–260 cm grades have a wider crown and go about 80 cm apart, which is 13 plants per 10 metres. The same applies to Golden Brabant.
Yes, in Poland. Our crew plants the hedge for an extra 49 zł per plant (140–160 cm), 59 zł (160–180 cm), 79 zł (180–200 cm) or 99 zł (200–260 cm). The minimum is 50 plants. We bring the equipment, mark out the line, plant at the right spacing and water the plants in.
